Reflections
This semester is my first semester in Berkeley and is also the first semester as a landscape architecture student. Although it is also a hard time for everyone, I gradually get used to studying early in the morning or late at night.
This reminds me of a Landscape studio in Prague before. It is quite interesting to deal with different armatures though I did not know the term at that time. We tried to discover armatures in the whole city and select a vulnerable place to do our design. That was the first time when I realized that I could do something for the city and nature.
However, from the beginning of my undergraduate course, every time I finish my studio, I always find that there are so many things I haven't done or tried to learn in the studio. Maybe it is because the reviews are always inspiring or learning has no limit itself. After the studio this semester, I am still eager to find a better solution for the district I studied. I think my strategies are a little armchair as it may be hard to be carried out. In the next semester, I want to try to think about the feasibility of the strategies I propose and think about how they will be put into effect step by step.
I am so grateful for my professors and classmates as they really helped me a lot during this hard semester. I will carry on and do better works in the next semester!
